The Cult of the Green Women is a narrative cycle played out through several schematic forms and overlapping genres using the devices of character construction, colour theory and word play. The GW take on the, wild, malicious and socially nonconformist aspects of the witch as an icon of feminism. Derogatory names historically attributed to women are satirised and re-configured as Cult personalities from pulp fiction stories and B-movies, and as weird resistance fighters, lurid stage acts, erotic performers and toxic rockstresses.
